People who share the dream of peace becoming a reality have gathered under HWPL.
The founder of HWPL, Man Hee Lee, commissioned two monuments for the Imjingak (west) and The Unification Observatory (east) side of the border that splits Korea.
It was the 54th Memorial Day, and in honor of those whose lives were sacrificed in war, they worked together to create the largest national flag in Korea.
The design was made entirely from the thumbprints of these volunteers.

Three years later in September 2012 the World Peace Festival was held in the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, Korea, packed with over 100,000 people from around the world.
United around peace the news are broadcasted to 30 different nations, and HWPL is rapidly growing and peace looked more possible than ever.
