Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) has been working to put an end to all armed conflicts and to bring world peace.

Along with the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG, 488 branches in 96 countries as of August 15, 2015) and the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG, 173 branches in 35 countries as of August 17, 2015), HWPL is taking the lead in creating world peace by launching a worldwide movement that transcends nationality, race, religion, and culture and by resolving various disputes and conflicts of the world.

Taking notice of HWPL’s matchless performance and ability in creating  peace, former and current heads of state are supporting its activities as the members of HWPL’s Peace Advisory Council. Also, religious and social leaders of various countries have cooperated and became members of the organization.

HWPL ManHee LeePeace advocate Man Hee Lee, the founder and chairman of HWPL, is a veteran of the Korean War. Having witnessed countless deaths of his peers and experienced the pain of a divided nation, ManHeeLee chairman resolved to devote his life to achieving peace. Since then, he has been promoting a worldwide movement for peace not just for one nation, but for the whole world.

In 2010, ManHeeLee Chairman of HWPL proclaimed the Declaration of Unification in hopes of putting an end to all wars and bringing unification to his home country. As a messenger of peace who awakens peace in humanity, peace advocate ManHee Lee has been delivering the message to end all armed conflicts and to achieve world peace.

Leading practical peace movements, in particular, his solution to make peace a reality to establish an article on convention on the renunciation and cessation of war and international armed conflicts has been acknowledged internationally and received many positive responses.
